To fix it: 1. Clean the water heater slot with a brush to remove dust. 2. Clean the card connector of the control board with a dry cloth, eraser, or a little alcohol—tin-plated contacts oxidize easily, causing poor connection. Do NOT use a wet cloth or let this area get wet. 3. After cleaning, align the card connector with the slot perfectly during reinstallation; slight misalignment causes poor contact. Following these steps will resolve the issue.
